Trondheim restaurants experienced
great success with content marketing on VG

 

Trondheim's Troll and Gubalari restaurants were fully booked during the quietest months of the year with the help of content marketing provided by Schibsted Partnerstudio. Read what restaurant co-owner Sveinung Sundli says about the marketing campaign and the results they got.

 

At Troll and Gubalari there is room for everyone. Here you will be served the best flavors Norway has to offer - at affordable prices. Centrally located in Trondheim, the two restaurants godt are busy, but it is often quieter in the winter months, just after the New Year. 

- We had a goal of filling up our restaurants in January and February, which are traditionally quite quiet months. After talking to Schibsted, we decided to try content marketing on VG to see if we could get closer to our goal," says Sveinung Sundli, co-owner of Troll and Gubalari.

Troll and Gubalari have previously focused on marketing through their own social media channels, but to achieve this goal they needed to reach a wider audience with their message.

Their marketing campaign consisted of a content article, published on VG and targeted at readers in the Trondheim area, as well as a godt offer for a tasty menu in the restaurants. In addition, Troll and Gubalari themselves contributed by sharing the article on their own channels, which led to even more visibility.

- We have had tremendous success with our campaign with Schibsted. Troll and Gubalari were fully booked throughout January, February and March - more than we were in November, which is the Christmas season and the golden month. Our campaign with Schibsted was definitely worth the money," says Sveinung.
