A tag is a banner encoded in a third-party tag (script), which can, among other things, deliver video content. Third-party script tags are hosted by our ad server, while the video content is hosted by the third party and is retrieved by the tag when the ad is displayed. This is technically banner material, and Schibsted will not be able to deliver video metrics on campaigns with such material.

HTML5 are banners coded in HTML5, which among other things can deliver video content. The HTML5 code is hosted by our ad server, while the video content is hosted by a third party and is retrieved by the HTML5 code when the ad is displayed. This is technically banner material, and Schibsted will not be able to deliver video metrics on campaigns with such material.

* For In Banner Video Horseshoes and Wallpaper, only the Skyscraper format is allowed for video / animations. For the sake of the user experience on our sites, video / animations are allowed in a maximum of half of the Skyscraper format. This applies regardless of whether Skyscraper is purchased alone, or as part of Horseshoe or Wallpaper.

Sound
Sound is only permitted when the user can activate the sound with a click.
Volume must be coded in accordance with EBU R-128, with a maximum LUFS of -16.
The ad must be marked with a sound symbol, where the sound is turned on or off.
Schibsted reserves the right to say no to certain sounds.

NB! We do not allow "console.log (" statements to be contained within the code, as this may slow down our pages and destroy debugging processes on the sites. "Console.log (" must therefore be removed from the code before the material is submitted.

Video files are ad videos that are delivered to AdOps (traffic@schibsted.no) as regular video files.

We can only receive video files for the "Non-Skip" formats, as well as Partnerstudio's products.

Live campaigns:

We've simplified the direct-purchase specification so you, as an advertiser, don't have to worry about technical video specifications. We only require the correct ratio and maximum duration for the video file.

Video files must be

• maximum 60 seconds duration (we recommend a maximum of 15 seconds)
• 16: 9 ratio

For Direct campaigns, as a rule, no other requirements for file type or file specifications apply.

Received video file will be converted by Schibsted Ad Operations if it
does not fit with technical formatting required at the ad server
has too loud sound.

We always contact the advertiser if the video file can not be converted without experienced image or audio quality change.

Received video file will be sent in return if

• The movie is too long
• The video has a different ratio than 16: 9
• It can not be converted with acceptable quality or size for upload to the ad server. Specification for programmatic purchases shows the technical quality required.
• Ads should not loop

Received video file will be converted by Schibsted Ad Operations if it
does not fit with technical formatting required at the ad server

File format We recommend mp4. In addition, the file formats x-flv, webm, x-ms-wmv, ogg, x-msvideo, mpeg and quicktime are also accepted. 3gpp or 3gpp2 is not accepted.

Video codec DVCPRO HD or H264.
Resolution As high a resolution as possible, preferably 1080p (1920 × 1080) or 720p (1280 × 720). Minimum 640 × 360 px.
Frames per second We recommend 50 frames per second. Minimum requirements are 25 frames progressive or 50 frames interlaced. Maximum 60 frames per second.
Quality (bit rate) Recommended minimum 1000 kbps

Higher quality of a clip gives better reproduction online. Resolution, bit rate and frames per second determine the quality of the clip.

Audio
Stereo AAC or MP3 format
Quality (bit rate) Recommended minimum 70 kbps
Sound level Flattened out at 23 LUFS / LKFS. Maximum -16 LUFS. Material with a higher volume is stopped.

Schibsted uses Xandr as an ad management system and it is Schibsted's measurements of ad impressions that apply and not other parties' tracking systems. It is only possible to use Schibsted's data in connection with advertising on Schibsted's services. It is not possible to use Schibsted-data for targeting or retargeting of Schibsted's users on other applications or services.

• Cancellation where we have produced content = 100% must be paid by production cost
• Cancellation later than 20 days before promotion date = 25% must be paid by distribution cost.
• Cancellation later than 5 days before promotion date = 100% must be paid by distribution cost
• Relocation earlier than 20 days before promotion date = OK
  This presupposes that new dates are available, and places must be available. The indentation date can only be moved once. Moving more than 30 days in advance is considered a cancellation and cancellation policy applies.
